We started a new tradition yesterday; Family Art Day. It was totally awesome in every way. Me, Ev, Gig and Flor all participated and everyone had a great time painting. Gigi painted with oatmeal, water and probably a little too much food coloring. Me, Flor and Ev took turns mixing paint and pouring it over stacked canvases based on this amazing idea I saw on pinterest inspired by artist Holton Rower. I’ll do a full post about it after art camp on Monday. I am attempting it with 16 kids on the first day of camp!
