Summer camp has been filled to the brim with all kinds of projects. From hot air balloons to Laurel Birch cats, we’ve really been doing a lot. I wanted to take it down a notch and just do something cute and simple. I had seen these sweet panda bear portraits on artsonia and used them as inspiration for family panda portraits. We used q-tips and cotton balls to paint the pandas on cut up pieces of recycled cardboard. The kids added all kinds of puffy paint and glitter paint to their own projects. I liked keeping mine simple. I think this would have been more successful if I did a little panda slideshow first or video. It’s hard pulling everything together sometimes. Next summer.
