I’m kind of in love with this headband. I made it months ago for Gigi’s 2nd birthday but sadly, it didn’t make it into any of the birthday pics. There is a thin wood circle (found at Michaels) and a piece of fabric under all the tchotchkes. The headband is glued onto the back of the wood circle with E6000 glue. Everything else is glued with a glue gun. All the little pieces are from a mixed bead set I found at Michaels, along with some pom poms. I made one for D too, but we lost it. These make great birthday gifts and party favors. You can make them into pins too. Gigi loves to wear it. The headband itself is from the drugstore. I love how the whole thing sits like a little hat. I can’t wait to make more. They are so freaking cute.
ps I don’t normally dress my girls in matching outfits, but it was Yom Kippur today and I couldn’t resist these gold and white dresses from Old Navy. What do you think? Matching outfits for sisters, yay or nay?
Yay!!
Meri, You are remarkable, how you are able to think of all these wonderful thing for the children to keep busy and enjoy every minute. Do you ever rest? I am very proud of. Love, Gram
P. S, I watch your log every day,
