How pretty are these leather fringe christmas trees? I just love them. I want to string them all over my house, which you could do, especially if you made mini versions. I made these at Trash for Teaching from left over leather and plastic cones from who knows what, but you can easily do this on styrofoam cones found at most craft stores. I cut strips of leather, made fringe slits, and then just glue gunned layers onto the cones starting from the bottom and moving up. It was really simple. For the top, I just cut out a circle and glued it on. A glittery pom pom would make a really nice final touch. They aren’t perfect by any means, but they are soft and pretty and if you have an old leather skirt laying around, go for it!
