Ahhhh… This fall activity was so simple and so much fun! I just love when something totally unplanned comes together in such a beautiful way. Keep reading to see how you can create something beautiful while doing art, math and imaginative play with easy bead sculptures.
Once you have your materials, invite some kids over and start beading. Wire is easy to cut with a scissor. I kept it long so we could make large bead sculptures with it. The kids loved easily placing the beads on the wire. I made a little curly cue on one side of each wire so the beads didn’t fall off. I’m always surprised how long young children can sit and bead, even my two year old got 18 beads on hers before moving on. I know because we counted the beads with the older kids and noticed any patterns we saw too.
